Welcome to Harwood Close Surgery

The Doctors and staff at Harwood Close are proud to offer the highest standard of patient-centred healthcare. As many of our patients will know, our practice has been established in Sutton-in-Ashfield for well over 50 years.

The Doctors provide high quality family medicine and are assisted by efficient and friendly staff. We run many clinics for management of chronic diseases such as asthma and diabetes and offer a wide variety of other medical services including antenatal and postnatal care, minor surgery, childhood vaccinations and well-person check-ups. We are always looking at ways to improve and extend these.

GP Access Scheme

Monday - Friday 6.30pm - 8:00pm

Saturday 9:00am - 12noon

Ashfield North Federation is a group of practices including Brierley Park Medical Centre, Willowbrook Medical Practice, Woodlands Medical Practice, Ashfield Medical Centre, Skegby Family Medical Centre and Harwood Close Surgery who work together in our locality. We work together to offer our patients access to a GP from 6.30pm - 8pm five days a week and Saturday mornings.

These appointments are available at your own surgery or at the above neighbouring practices. These appointments can only be booked through your own surgery. There will be a GP and a Nurse/HCA available at each surgery. Your appointment will be 15 minutes long.

Should the GP you see wish for you to have further investigations or procedures, this information will be passed to your usual GP practice to arrange the same.

Please note NO emergency appointments are available through this scheme.
