This year, King's Medical Centre is supporting St Mary's Church by organising 'Soup & Socks Appeal'. This is following on from Harwood Close successfully donating for the past two years!

Please donate any of the following:

  • Non-perishable items (tins, packet foods, sugar, tea, coffee, drinking chocolate, powdered milk, pasta, cereals, soft drinks, dog/cat food etc.)
  • Scarves, gloves, hats and socks

Donations will be given to St Mary's Church for their distribution from Tuesday 6th November until Monday 10th December 2018.

It is almost five months since Harwood Close Surgery and Ashfield Medical Centre joined together to form the new King’s Medical Centre. NHS Mansfield and Ashfield Clinical Commissioning Group (responsible for planning and paying for healthcare locally) would like to understand your experience of services at King’s Medical Centre, particularly regarding access to appointments. The information gathered will be shared with the practice to inform service improvement in the future.

We would like to say a big welcome to our new Healthcare Assistant Michelle Dear who joined the practice in October. She is available for appointments Monday to Friday.

King's Medical Centre would like to say a big welcome to our new Advanced Nurse Practitioner Marcia Daws! Marcia will be working on a Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. You are able to book appointments with her through the usual appointment line or online.

All staff would like to say a big thank you for bearing with us during the merger process. We are grateful for all support received.

Thank you to patients for notifying us that there is a problem with our telephone line, especially in busy times. We would like to ensure you this we are working hard to remedy the situation but it appears to be a technical issue from our provider.
